Double slits experiment = When electrons are fired through two slits, it goes against the classical picture and an interference pattern is seen. Quantum mechanically, the interference pattern shows the variation of probability, i.e.

$$P(x,t)\propto |\psi (x,t){|}^2={\psi }^{\ast }(x,t)\psi (x,t)$$

Formally, probability of detecting a particle within volume $dr=dxdydz$ centered at $r=(x,y,z)$ at t = $P(r,t)dr=|\psi (r,t){|}^2$
